Costa Calida is to the south of the Costa Blanca

for these people are in the Bay of Mazarron.
Mazarron
is billed as one of the healthiest places in Europe
to live. Due to it's location it has its own favourable
micro-climate - the village is surrounded by high
mountains that shield it from strong winds and it
enjoys gentle sea breezes instead.
Mazarron Bay boasts over 35 Km of unspoilt coastline,
made up of small inlets, coves and sandy beaches.
The waters are wonderfully unpolluted and perfect
for subaqua activities, with clear views of Mediterranean
flora and fauna such as sea bass, moray and moonfish.
Unspoilt
by the holiday masses, this area is still in the
early days of development. It is therefore not overcome
with local bars and restaurants, though these can
be found in Puerto de Mazarron and around the golf
course.
You will therefore need to have access to your own
transport to make the most of this area and to access
most of the major services.
The scenic routes across the Algarrobo range are
delightful; there are rabbits, partridge and foxes
roving, and it provides a natural habitat for kestrels
and species of wild eagle. The mountain areas are
abundant with wild thyme, rosemary and lavender,
which can be found complementing many local dishes.
Mazarrón is famous for its plethora of wonderful
seafood dishes; mouthwatering local dishes include
bonito fish with noodles, peppers, garlic, sauté tomatoes
and aniseed; Mazarron sea bass oven baked with pepper,
potatoes, tomatoes and dressed with pine nuts and
speciality rice with lobster.

beaches and the ability to build virtually any design
of villa you choose is for you, then this could be
the place of your dreams.
A selection of plots are currently located at Isla
Plana de Mazarron which is on the south facing shore
of the bay, whilst others overlook Puerto de Mazarron
and the beach from the hillside.
You can design your own villa making it exactly how
you want. Average plots here are 600 sqm so there is ample
room to get the right layout. You can stipulate how many
bedrooms or bathrooms you need, whether you would like
separate dining room or study, large covered terraces or
Solariums or indeed a generous sized kitchen...
the choice is yours.

little as £100,000 (€1.63/£1) - cheaper
again for smaller plots or villas.
Many plots in the area are sloping which can mean
either building a split level house to take advantage
of the slope or paying some additional costs for "underbuild".
